My "re" build thread - Trick flow/turbo build

Haven’t posted in a while. In process of doing some remote tuning. First time out doing WOT pulls we did WG spring only. Car saw 8psi and blew throttle body pipe off so that ended that. Got it on a lot better and now need to do some more WOT pulls so he can review the logs but everything so far looked Spot on. Got it all cleaned up for Ford nationals in Carlisle, pa this weekend

I bet it felt amazing right up till that "POP". Think if you could chart the data of your excitement on the data log as it went from "HELL YEA" to "WTF?!"..... Maybe I have been looking at data logs too much....

Haha so true. Car pulled like crazy and than just fell on its face. Did a second pull and was in straight vacuum so I figured a leak somewhere

haven’t officially listed it for sale, but I’ve had people reach out to me about it. If the price was right, I’ve given it a lot of thought and think I would sell it and get a ‘20

Nothing wrong with it at all. Just have been having a change of heart. I have a 16 month old and I’ll never get to enjoy this car with him with how I built it unfortunately

I honestly don’t think I’d get what I’d need to consider selling it as it is. But if the right offer came by I’d seriously consider it. I’d love to buy a ‘20 and be able to enjoy it more

its not the first time he has considered selling it. Its funny how you get this deep into a project and suddenly a warranty and +400 to start off with sounds really nice.

Sorry haven't updated in forever. Yes I did keep the car. Recently got it on a dyno and finally can say I'm done mechanically with it and enjoying it. Car made 815/700 through the auto on 19psi, and ran out of injector. May go bigger on injectors and see what it does on 25+ psi, but other than that just enjoying it at this point

It’s amazing, such a fun car to drive but way too much for the street. My last blower build made just over 550/490 on 21psi and this makes 285 more hp and 210 more tq on 2 lbs less boost. Loving it so far!
