They were on the SR's and his race cars. Very Very few came with them. Mine didn't come with it but it swaps out with 4 bolts. Its too bad that the Ricers picked up on it and started using it. They are copying Saleen I'm not trying to make it look like a import.

#58 is not supercharged. In 94-95 the non S/C cars were rated at 371hp, 422ft lbs. They had Edelbrock heads, Cam, TB, Mass air, Headers, Cut and welded upper and extruded honed intake, and a cat back, stock from Saleen.

It was a fun open oval track day and you got to go out and play! I couldn't believe they didn't require helmets either! They had a pro photographer out taking pic's....they are better than ones taked with a cheap camera, so I thought I would share them.

Both open courses I get a chance to go to have what could be mistaken for lane markers in multiple corners - they are to help new guys find a line through the corner and use as reference points. Although rules like windows and helmets are never, ever, for any event, ignored.

Was this a parade lap of something? Pretty much every group I've ran with requires windows down and helmet on for safety. They will not even let you out of the pits before that's done.

This was a one time deal. I saw thay were having a car show some 50's type club. It also was at this track and it said that you would be able to go out on it. I have never been on a oval so I was there! I brought a helmet long sleeves and pants. Something that every track here normally has you run. Don't you have to wear long sleeves and pants? You never mentioned that and I would have thought you would have pointed that out too?? I put these pic's on like I said because they were a nice quality pic's, not something from an cheap camera.

Anyway there were alot of old street rods and 60's muscle cars. Guys were stopping for the photographer and doing burnouts so they could get a pic! Also most were just cruising around....flooring it on the straightaway's and slowing for the corners.

So I would go out when the track was empty so I didn't have to deal with all that. This has never happened again and I have no idea why they didn't make you do the normal safety things. Actually it was kinda nice!

There was a guy in a old Falcon with his wife and 2 little kids, You should have seen the kid's looking out the back window watching me come and pass them like they were standing still! :laughing5:

Regarding the long sleeve shirt, it's a rule which is enforced very loosely. Temperatures in Southern California will shoot right up past 100 during summer, so walking around in a long sleeve sucks. During winter, I wear a jacket, but summer a simple t-shirt is fine.
