Been doing research on intake manifolds and think I'm gonna go with the trickflow street burner intake manifold.

I'm most likely only doing the intake manifold (upper and lower), cai, 76mm maf housing and a 70mm tb. This intake says it has a 75mm tb opening, would I be better off with the 70mm tb or 75mm tb? Anyone use this intake on a stock 5.0? There should be a decent gain of hp from this kit right?

You may loose a little torque down low but will gain a little back in higher rpm's. If staying N/A I'd go with a 70mm TB. I have the same intake in my closet waiting for the h/c/i install.

get a 75mm. always pair the TB with the opening of the intake manifold. don't forget to add the elbow to your list of parts though. personally i wouldn't bother with the maf housing.

Don't buy that intake in the link, they are garbage!. And you should match the TB to the intake opening.

Sounds good guys, i might do heads and a cam in the future but most likely just a full intake, gears, headers and exhaust. Thats a great deal but I gotta wait till after xmas when I get some $$. I'll go with the 75mm tb like you recommeded prokiller. I might be getting the C&L intake and it comes with the maf. Are there specific size elbows like 70mm? I'll remember to look for one and add it to my list. Thanks for all the help guys, can't wait to get this stuff next year. LSX why do you think its garbage?

i would use the same size t/b also. u will gain alittle bit but if u do the head and cam combo u will notice it big time.
for the money some guys dont like them and some do buy the pro-comp head with the 2.02 valves u can get them under 600 for the pair. i had them on my 302 and it would scream. i had no problems with them. if u run that size though u will have to cut the valve reliefs to make room but that all determains on what size cam.. good luck on your build. i think if u run like a e-cam u should be ok.

Yeah I'm going with the 75mm tb. In the future I might do heads and a cam but for now I'm just doing the intake. I'm not lookin to go nuts, just some things here and there to wake this car up lol. I found this Trickflow SN95 Throttle Body Adapter, says 75mm, this is what I need for this trickflow street burner intake manifold right? The link below is the intake elbow or throttle body adapter I found on summit.

Before dropping the coin on a new intake mani check over on corral for a good deal on a used one. You can find em fairly cheap used.
