I'm sure most of you have seen or read about the new Trickflow intake that will be released in mid January 07. While looking at the pictures on MD I noticed that Trickflow placed an extra amout of material on the intake so that us PI swap guys can drill and tap out Temp sensor into the new intake. See the picture!

Yeah looks like the Bullitt, but it's MSRP should be around $700. The Bullitt is much more than that. I agree, some dyno info is what I would want to see as well. From my 5.0 experience Trickflow seems to design their products pretty well with good castings and performance numbers. Lets hope they pull through on this one!

Its about time someone put out a two valve intake other than ford and those expensive race ones 8) I'm glad you guys have this one for your GT's now. Hopefully more company's will follow suit, like Holley / Edelbrock / BBK and so on :D

I will go out on a limb and say this will probably be the best option for 2V intakes ever made even if the gains are similar to the bullitt. I don't see any other major company making a 2V intake especially since the engine has been dead for 2 years already.

ibe heard RUMORS that bbk has a upraded PI intake in
the wings somewhere. Now that trickflow has a intake
out the rest of the competition is going to get in to
just so they can grab a share of the market for the intakes.
come on, its basic buisness stuff, just a matter of time

I've heard rumors of BBK making an intake too...oh for about 4 years now :-X I've also heard that all of the prototypes didn't make power so they scrapped them. Your not gonna get anything that blows you away for a 2V because the stock intake flows really well already so its gonna be hard to get one to significantly beat it.

well then you might as well
hop on the race intake bandwagon
b/c like droptop said the stock PI intake
flows really well and most other intakes like, oh,
the typhoon thats actually not a full out race intake thats
halfway affordable. by the way do we know if the new intake will
even fit onto the non-pi heads or am i gonna have ot do the swap?

I have a PI intake on my 97 gt. No head swap, so Im going to say you could put it on the same way.
