got the fuel pumps wired this past weekend, so she will get started for the first time in 2 years on Saturday. A buddy/local tuner is coming over with his goods to put a base tune on her so I can start putting miles on it. Of course I'll have a start up vid

Well......







Today was the big day.
Got the base tune on my car done, and fired her up.
Everything seemed perfect
and than the belt started shredding
after checking it out, seems that the alternator pulley from the 8 rib conversion I had one too many spacers and it was about 1/4" out too far, causing this. Was unable to get the belt I need anywhere, but got the pulley appropriately spaced out, and will have the belt on Monday. Absolutely no leaks (knock on wood) and the car sounded awesome. Of course, I forgot to get a video, but I'll get one on Monday for everyone!

i used an 03 lightning pulley and 8-rib from expedition. have you looked into that?

^ My 8rib conversion is a GI Joe kit, so I'm really not worried about what I have, it just seems one pulley was not aligned properly, I have it perfect now...just need the belt

got the new belt on, everything appears to be lined up perfectly....the neighbors would hate me if i started the car this late, so tomorrow will be the day! I'll be sure to get a video tomorrow for ya's!
