1994 Ford Mustang GT

122k miles
exterior color is red, freshly painted
the interior is black and tan with leather seats
Trickflow TFS Street cylinder heads
Crane Cam Energizer 1.6:1 roller rockers
MSD Blaster coil
K&N air filter
off-road h-pipe
weld-in Flowmaster mufflers
3.73:1 rear-end gear
BBK lowering springs
I was told by the previous owner that a shift kit was installed
Trickflow hardened pushrods
Comp-Cams double-roller timing chain
new battery

There is not a spot of rust on this car anywhere. Its coming from Virginia (if its not sold tomorrow). He is asking 3500, but can get it for 3k. What you guys think? Good buy or no? This car will be a street and strip car until my school loans are paid off and i get a gt500 and this will become a 90% strip car and 10% street car. So far just going to put a cam, intake, 4.10s and a s-trim kit for now until shelby day comes.. Here are two pics.

^^

Autos can be built for exactly what he's looking for..... so not sure why you said "/thread"

There are a few guys on here with automatics that do some damage at the track.

I fully understand. I don't not like manuals. I love driving them. It's a big difference between the two. But still, like you said "a lot of the fastest cars around have autos" and I drive an auto mustang a few others on here do as well. Just gets annoying when people decide to bash an auto.

i have an auto and love it. but there comes a time when i would love to drop some gears ya know. mileage isnt that bad, depending on how it was driven. but i would find out about the "upgrades" before i would make a decision

Get a stall, shift kit, gears and a semi built transmission and you will love an auto even more. It will be just as bad ass, if not even more badass then a manual car.

The issue stock vs stock yes the manual is nicer. But once you do some stuff to the auto, it's like an entirely different car.

I would say try and get it for 2500 or a hair less. Think of it this way it is always easier to go up in price. It's a lot harder to go down.

My question is why on earth would someone go through the trouble of putting good heads like that on and LEAVING the already restrictive stock intake? I'd do more research, something about that car seems VERY fishy...
