egr is easy to remove. you will need a plate to block off where the egr went. you can make one or they sell them on ebay for about $10. the smog is also easy to remove. you can just put a bolt in your h or x pipe where it connects. also if you have stock headers you will need to cap off the tube that comes off of them. you can buy something from hardware store or if you have a welder put a bolt in there upside down with the head in there first, get one that fills it in well, then weld around the bolt and cut off threads with a saw. thats what i did. but then i ended up getting shorty headers. yes egr will throw out a cel, but i have heard of people tricking it into thinking its still on. i read that on this site somewhere. the only thing is that your computer thinks its on the whole time so you have to always run higher octane fuel. i guess it pulls timing but i am not sure. i just ignore the cel because i know why it is on. anymore questions feel free to ask.
