I pulled the smog crap and ran a shorter belt untill I put the blower on. I had trouble routing the belt without the smog pulley so I'm now running a delete.

I've still got the egr crap, but will eventually cap it off.

i wanted to get rid of mine but after one of those ebay sensor plugs failed to do its job i reinstalled it. once i bought my bbk equal length headers the tube that was supplied with the did not fit at all so i went this route.

I cut the stock tube in half (kept the new one) i found it was tore already aswell so it was garbage took the nuts off and placed a penny inside each of them.

i dont have a picture of the egr its self but i plugged it with a penny aswell. keep the vacuum line and the wiring harness installed to it. no more check engine light and no more exhaust gas in the motor. win win in my book.

i also have the smog delete pully installed to make way for those headers.

you can put a wire twist cap on the sensor to keep the light off, i used a small hose clamp to hold it on.

For the people that remove all the smog equipment, what about the little/skinny hoses/lines that go to....hell whatever they are called. Off the pump you have the rubber hoses that go to "......" whatever its called which has the lines im talking about going to the stop of it. They look like vaccum lines. what happens to them?

$4 at the parts store for a pack of vacuum plugs and a little tape for securety.

one of mine broke removing the system so i capped it and put it inside the loom with the others. the 2nd on is capped and still routed over the valve cover but sits out of sight .

i dont understand what you mean by this.? how does a wire twist cap go on the sensor? do you have a picture or a better way to elaborate

i removed the elbow that had the egr valve on it and run fox equal length headers. Then once I got the twEECer RT I can turn both the egr and thermocator functions off in the ecu and no check engine light. works like a champ.
