Small visual mod but I think it makes the difference. I picked these up from a '96 Saleen my father in law was parting out. Also picked up some black interior plastics for the soon coming swap!

Getting back to modifying the car. My friend is parting his highly modified '96 Cobra and I'm scoring a whole bunch of parts.

Round 1: Fluidyne time! Many people know that the '96 Cobra and GT cooling systems suck. Ford decided to use cooling parts designed for a 5.0 OHV on a 4.6 OHC that runs hotter, nice move. My car was originally from Virginia so the TSB issued for the cooling system couldn't be installed. On to the next best thing!

Out with the pint size stock one

In with the manly Fluidyne

Did it help? Before when I used the A/C on my drive home, my temp gauge would hit the L in NORMAL. Now it stays at the O in 97 degree weather. *****in'.

Update:

Here's where the interior stands:

The peanut butter is almost gone, just need to source a black dash and center console. The dash I'm waiting for one to pop up on Craigslist, center console I'm looking specifically for a '98 one for the cup holder design. Carpet is gonna be new and I'll be ordering it soon.

As of last week, I'm the proud owner of 2 4 valve vehicles. We picked up a 2005 Lincoln Aviator through my work

100k miles, great shape, grey leather with the 2nd row being Captains chairs. Mods will be simple, tint is a must especially living in Florida. We're doing 5% all around. HIDs for the lights up front, swapping in the factory Lincoln navigation and painting the grille body color when the chrome peels (it's starting to bubble)

Dude i like the interior the way it is now, just changed the door handles and the backseats. I love how it looks with the door panels and front seats being black.
