Sold my 96 Cobra project after I picked up a 2001 Cobra roller.

I have an 03-04 engine setup, wiring, ECU, and cluster.

Car came with 03-04 front and rear bumpers, built 8.8, front coilover and tubular k, and 4" cowl hood.

Plans are to do a Dark Charcoal swap, VMP TVS, built Teksid, T56, 99-01 Cobra front, 95 Style Cobra R Hood, 03-04 Cobra spoiler, possibly swap an IRS back in, return fuel system, and some other things.

Goals are 600 on 93 and 700 on ethanol.

The engine is torn down, it will be a bit more stout and lighter when it goes back together.

The pictures are a few years old, it has been sitting a while. But, it is a very good canvas to start with.

I'm jealous! I liked the older body style cobra but I can't deny that this build is going to top the initial plans. Keep us posted on the progress

Here are some current pictures, took the pressure washer to it. Found a few small areas that will need some body work and it will need a respray. The mounts for the IRS are still there which is good.

The back bumper is from an 03-04 and was never painted, the hood I am going to guess that it is due to the hood quality and not necessarily paint job. The rest of it is just due to sitting at a storage lot. Not a big deal, the thing is fairly straight.

Paint is no biggie, as long as its straight. Youve definitely got a good point to start from.

The color is True Blue and that is what the respray will be, my wife loves the color.

I got an IRS for it, swapping a guy straight up for a mainly stock SRA. I have the rest of the wiring to go over to all the 03-04 wiring and such. This works out perfect as I can use the stock 01 engine harness for my 02 GT 4V swap.

I am debating a 4pt cage, I'd imagine without one i will get kicked off the track after a pass or two when I do take it. I plan to compete in the True Street Class knowing I will not be all that competitive.
