Well, I have been looking at some Lowering Spring Kits. The one I am probably getting is 1.5in in the front and 1.25in in the rear. I was just wondering other then the springs do I need to get anything else? I am new to lowering of SN95's so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You for your time!

Some good shocks and struts if yours are the stock ones.

other than that you are good.

Some new isolators might cut down on chassis noise, Your there and they're cheap.

if your doing it shocks and struts you might as well throw in some caster/camber plates. at 1.5" drop your right on the borderline of not being able to get the car into alignment. i would put them on there just so you have them though.

Your going to need c/c plates, I went with Steeda Superlite springs that offer 1 1/4 to 1 3/8 drop in the front and I still need plated.

yeah the one thing that does suck is that doing everything you should do when adding lowering springs adds up like a mo-fo.

If you are ONLY gonna lower it 1.5" just get some camber bolts they work great and they are a lot cheaper than Caster camber plates..

Coilovers :) Do it once and do it right. You'll thank yourself in the end :)

Couldn't agree more. There's really no comparison :)

What are isolators? I have never heard of them, I'm afraid.

Also, how do you know which shocks and struts to get if you are lowering the car? I mean, how do aftermarket shocks and struts differ from stock when it comes to lowering? How can you make sure that by lowering the car, you are not getting to close to the bottom out point on the aftermarket shocks and struts? This is something I never could figure out.

the set up i have on my car ran me about 900 bucks, i still dont have my bumpsteer installed yet just because of time constraints. but the front and rear suspension took me about 7 to 8 hours to do in my garage with hand tools. no power tools.
I went with
H&R super sport springs
Tokico shocks
Tokico Struts
J&M caster camber plates
competition engineering bump steer

Camber/Caster plates for sure. I got H&R springs along with KYB AGX (adjustable) shocks and struts. Also I ordered a complete bushing kit from Energy suspension comes with everything from the axle link busings to the front control arm bushings and sway bar bushings. Also the spring isolators. This will really help and make your suspension feel much more rigid. Don't forget to get an alignment!
