T45s or TR3650s behind a 5.0?

Can we put a t45 or a TR3650 behind a 5.0 in our 94-95 car? I ask this because this seems to be a cheaper route than buying a TKO 500 or 600 brand new. Looking at Pro Motion Powertrain's website, you can get a reconditioned 750 HP t45 for only 1390.00 or a reconditioned 750 HP TR3650 for 1650.00.

Do all tremecs have the same bolt pattern and all we need is essential a bell housing, clutch with proper spline count and a modified driveshaft of some sort?

I'd take those numbers with a grain of salt. I personally would not trust ANY T-45 or T-3650 with 750hp. But that's just me.

AFIAK the TKOs all have the same bolt patterns. To get them in your car you need a tremec bell, a DS spacer and depending on the trans you'll need a different clutch and possibly a 31 spline input on the DS.

The TKO500s(and the older 3550) have the stock 10 spline inputs and the 28 spline output which means the stock type clutch and 28 spline driveshaft input will work. The TKO600s(and the older TKOs) have 26 spline input shafts and 31 spline tailshaft gears which means you need a 31 spline input on the DS.

You'll also need to flip the crossmember for the trans mount to line up properly and as with ANY trans that isn't a T-5 with stock mounts you NEED to degree the driveshaft properly or there is a good chance you'll get vibes.

Oh and no idea if you can get a t-45 or a 3650 to bolt up to a 5.0 motor. I'm sure you COULD...not sure about doing it economically though.

well t45 and 3650 we're built for mod motors and have an intefrated bellhousing on them that won't bolt up. I'm not even sure if its possible to make it work and if it is possible it wouldn't be worth the time spent.
