You should be able to pull it out
And push in a regular pcv valve

From that grommet that is interesting valve cover
It comes out but the regular PCV doesn’t push in because of how the inside is designed, I tried pushing it in but it won’t go in4ADEAC5B-F584-42FA-BB52-89E92DB43C08.png

I see mine must have been replaced with a push in grommet
That’s how they are for the Mustang, other differences too is that this engine has a cylinder head temperature sensor, assuming it came from a Crown Vic or F150 because those have the sensor as the Mustang does not which is fine it won’t make a difference for me lol

When I bought mine a while back as time goes
A lot of things get discontinued
And you make things work
I'm sure on mine thats not original
Hell I even changed the valve covers on mine
The old ones are plain

I think it was in 01 that ford switched to the screw in pcv valve, on the mustang anyway.

With the install on hold until I get the clutch and exhaust I decided to pull the interior and do some cleaning. I’ll be going down to pick up an upholstery cleaner later to get the stains out. Still need to get the headliner and visors replaced as well as the airbag cover, driver door panel, and driver seatbelt.
Back seat is going to stay out as im going to do a rear seat delete since the rear seats are pretty much useless in these cars

Holy shit what a mess. So what did ya find on the carpet?
I just redid my interior, replaced the carpet and everything. Through the whole process, I found a whopping 45 cents. No ketchup packets, no french fries etc. Just a quarter and 2 dimes.
I was hoping to find something interesting. Before I put the new carpet in, I put a 2022 quarter on the floor in front of the driver's seat.
