I have a chance to buy a typhoon upper and lower with the elbow a 75 mm throttle body and fuel rails for $150.00 how good are these intakes.and is anybody running that kind of set upnif so what kind of horse power are you making

they arent that bad of intake for a good HCI combo. build engines i would go something that flows alot better. i had one a 306 with gt40p heads and fti cam.

Id be on the hunt for an explorer the typhoon is a jap knock off of the eddy. PP isnt know for there quality if ya know what Im getting at

i'd get it solely for the rails, TB and elbow. you can turn that intake in for scrap aluminum and make some money back!

i have a typhoon intake, i agree its a knock off of the eddy, but i moves air and i like it. 150 is a good price for those items

Yea I have a gt 40 just setting in the gerage

Go with the GT40/Cobra/Explorer. Send it to tmoss to get the lower ported out and the whole intake will flow 240-250cfm and have great low end. Ported GT40 style=best street intake for a 5.0 there is.

Yea cobras are good. Mine came on a motor I bought and when I pulled it off it was ported and cleaned right up. With that shitty intake my hci combo made 327rwhp so it flows alright
