Looks clean man nice. Where'd you get the new stripping? How hard was it to replace?

Paid $25 from a local Mustang shop. New one went on in 5 mins. Had to drill out the old rivet and replaced it with a sheet metal screw that came off the car in another place that I don't remember. Haha.

Well after a shady Craigslist deal, I came home with a CY Cobra hood and bumper cover. The hood is OE Ford and the bumper cover is aftermarket. The bumper had a large crack that looks fixable in it. The hood is in decent shape. It has a few chips here and there and needs a good clay bar and a lot of buffing. I think I got a deal at $275 for both.
I'll get some pics of the bumper soon.

Plans are to repair the Cobra bumper and get some fog lights. I thought about the Envoy mod but I'd had to have to buy envoy brackets and Cobra brackets. Hope to have the bumper on soon!

Thanks man. The hood actually matches better than my old one. My buddy gave me a heads up that it was on there yesterday. If I had $300 more the. I would have come home with some seats too.

Thanks! I was beyond happy to find these. I sure wasn't expecting to find anything painted. It's coming along the way I wanted.

Hood and lights all look great. I was also lucky to find a cobra Hood already painted the same color as my car.

Some pics of the bumper.

The condition I picked it up in:

I might be able to start working on the bumper today. If not another friend of mine told me that we could knock it out Saturday. Can't wait to get this thing on! Then I'll order my fogs.

I would definitely do this.
However I'm willing to bet Walkingtall is much more classy than me and will bring that bumper back to it's original state.

Haha. Classy is something I've never been called. I think we are going to use an epoxy and then reinforce the back with fiberglass. Ill have to weigh the options of what to after that. I'm leaning towards not doing any bodywork on top of the repair for now. I want a full repaint some time next year.
