Figured out I'm going to have to get some hood latches. My aftermarket Cobra hood isn't the highest quality, and it's getting to where it won't latch at the way. I've actually caused a crack in the new paint from slamming it. I figure with hood latches that'll solve the problem.

@white95 - which latches did you go with again?

Aerocatch, my man.

Make sure you don’t buy knock offs because they notoriously fail.

Quick Latch. They were the vendors for the hood catches on the 2020+ GT500 and their stuff is super nice. A bit on the $ side but you do get what you pay for.

I like the looks of the Aerocatch, and the price is right at around $100 for the locking units.

Man, I am just not a fan of external hood pins/latches. But those flush things are a good compromise if you had to have them.

Made some modifications to the Coyote engine cover. Just a bit more finer touches to go but I actually found it quite easy to adapt a Gen 1 cover (the best looking IMO) to a Gen 3 intake manifold.

I'm hoping they'll sit flush with my hood. I'm also hoping I can install them without wrecking my hood lol. Cobra hoods are real hard to come by these days.

Repainting my hood scoop in my makeshift spray booth. Tried to remove some dust particles and ended up streaking it a bit. It is very subtle but I can see it.image.jpg
