Drove mine to work today, might drive it the rest of the week actually as it is looking nice here in TN.
Keep us updated!Taking it back to the dyno shop hopeful for better results this go around .
Will do I’ve got way more then enough fuel system now , Anderson Motorsports hi rev valve springs hoping she’ll rev to 7k like if used too . Last year one time I spiked it to 7 k and it never reved as high after even after all the work new lifters rockers pushrods etc . I told them to check the valve spring seat pressure clearly was over looked when my heads got deckedKeep us updated!
yup especially when it is your own fault. I have been running wires for nearly 30 years in cars but always IN the car. I Used wire ties to hold up some of the wiring where I should have either rerouted it or made a solid mount for it. All the wiring has been moved now, heat shield covered and hard mounted every 12" or so. It will not happen again.....Oh shite that sucks
Was having issues with my auto meter oil pressure gauge fluctuating and going down to almost zero. I added a ground to the body of the sending unit and it appears to be fixed!
Agree butttt I installed it into a sandwich adapter between the block and the oil filter made of aluminum.Just a thought. Since the engine block should be grounded to the chassis, would that not be a likely problem to crop up among other things? Ignition, charging, etc...
Might check to make sure that the engine block still has sufficient ground to the chassis.
Did you clean the connection prior to this, sand the paint/dirt off? when I added a ground to mine, I used one of the bolts that holds the starter on. NOTHING in the car draws current like the starter and it never made sense to me to have the ground on the ther side of the block on the 5.0 at least. It is also easy to get to with shorty headers on.Agree butttt I installed it into a sandwich adapter between the block and the oil filter made of aluminum.
