I got the catch cans done
Then noticed the dome light not turning off
So my dumb ass gose and pushes the switch in on the driver side and broke the switch
It ended up being the passenger side faulty
Orderd 2 switches
It never ends
I did the same thing on my car a few years ago. I just pulled the dome light bulb out lol. I need to fix that

Various companies offer these my car was starting to drop a little pressure in higher rpm , I haven’t datalogged since I hooked this back up . It was originally powering my T. rex pump which is gone now . I’m going to do a datalog tomorrow and see if it stays steady in the higher rpm . My car shoulda had more than enough pump being a 340lph . I bought a new pump just in case but I’m testing this with the wiring upgrade and 30 amp relay first .

I did a thing today.

Put some Quick Latch hardware on the intake manifold. I can then snap on and snap off the intake manifold cover and have it look pretty at the same time. Got a clearance of about 1/4" from the intake cover to the main beam of the strut tower brace, not to little and not too great.

I think the whole thing came out decent. Just too bad I don't get to see all the inner workings I created beneath it unless it's removed.

I drove it!!! Spring has sprung here, I've had my car out a few times now. Probably about 30 miles on it so far this year.
Last year I did about 400 miles. Hoping I surpass that by a good amount this year.

I like the way it looks with no plastic cover.

I kind of like the bare look too, but I like the covered look just a tiny bit more. Past the point of no return anyway with the dremeling of the intake to get it all to fit properly.

Had a busy morning! I’ll save the specifics for my build thread.

1. Fuel pump/strainer
2. Fuel filter
3. Headlight panel
4. Repainted the gas tank cover
5. Cleaned the jungle gym and 8.8
6. Washed
7. Drove it around to datalog

Installed the S197’s new grille and painted the defunct fog lights flat black until I buy a new set.

It's almost like your S197 is wearing pasties. Maybe if I throw a few more singles she'll take them off.
