What size converter??

hey guys i have a completelly stock 95 convertible gt and it runs so slow i think grandma with the electric wheelchair with the 24v mod can dust me lol anyway im planning on modding it a litte its a DD so im looking into stall converters and tranny coolers with shift kit first. what size would be decent to go with? i dont want anyting thats gonna make me have to be at 4k to run 80 mph lol oh and im adding 3.73 gears. any help wouldl be greatly appreciated. :TY:

you will probably need a 3k or so. Just call around to converter companies that build them. With a lockup it will be like stock after locking.

If your car is completely stock, raising the stall in your car is going to hurt performance.

Wait until you get some power first, then worry about the converter.
