Hey guys, Havent been on this site in a while but i recently completed my v6 to v8 swap. Only things i have left to do are fix 1 brake line (waiting on connector to come in the mail) and re-register it so it can be street legal. haha. Im taking it to the dyno next weekend and just want to know what you guys think it will make. Im hoping 320hp/350tq. Havent really been able to take it out yet since the brakes are kindve holding me back but it is a whole new beast. Here is a list of mods that would affect any performance.

Engine/Drivetrain:
V6 swapped to VT 302 stroker 9.2:1 comp ratio
Forged crank, Manly rods and cp pistons
VT Stage 2 Heads with oversized valves and comp beehive springs
VT Stage 2 Cams
Ford Racing Intake
JLT RAI
30 lb injectors
C&L TB and intake Plenum
SCT xcal3 tuner
Svt Focus Fuel Pump
Mach 1 Radiator
Mac LTs
Mac o/r h pipe
SLP lm2s dumped
FRPP aluminum Driveshaft
FRPP 4.10 gears

the car has a bunch of other goodies but these should be all that matters for the dyno

i wouldnt get your hopes too high for those numbers, people get just over 300rwhp with 10.4:1 compression on a 4.6 with ported heads and cams. i dont see a stroker making up the difference especially being over a point under that in compression, it will give you more torque though.

my guess is 294rwhp 320ft pounds

I guess right about 300/300 as well. Solely because of the compression level. I do not doubt it feels like an animal though.

Is it a new edge with a 5 woah? Thats awesome :D

Yeah its a modular. And the cams are vt stage 2s which are basically the same as foxlakes. Yeah I know 320/350 is aiming high but that's what you have to shoot for right. Lol. And yeah its the stock fordd racing intake manifold

well i wont be too upset if it doesnt hit my hopeful numbers. Its all about what it can do at the track anyways. Plus, my next mod will be a kenne bell. Just havent decided if i want the 2.1 or 2.6. Not sure if the extra grand for the 2.6 and supporting parts is worth it when i can easily get my goal of 500/500 with the 2.1 and come close to the 10 second mark. But i have a while to decide that since im probably not going to win the lottery any time soon.

thats why im glad this engine had stockish compression. If i was just going to stay n/a then i would have upped the compression while i had the engine out.
