id have to take a 96-96 cobra. I already have a 95 gt w/ cobra intake and bumper so why have another 94-95. :dunno:

Gotta go 96-98

I am impressed with how many people would go pushrod though, especially on this forum with all the 4v love. Then again I do hang out in the 4.6 section way more than the 5.0 ;)

if money werent an issue id say 96-98 but i voted 94-95 because parts are so much cheaper... and the car itself

I am appalled at how many of you would choose the OHC platform, especially the 4V. They are complicated, expensive, difficult (impossible?) to work on, heavy, huge, and slow.

Pushrods for life.

Paul.

94-95

NOT FOR PERFORMANCE...

Why?

1. OBDI... meaning, easier to work on then OBDII
2. They are more rare then the 96-98
3. Easily modded at a lower price, parts are more plentiful...

while I thought it is easier to modify a 302, I find it more expensive, even though more parts are available for it. I mean, our current plan is to finish off the full bolt ons, build a 31 spline f150 rear with 4.10s and 27" tall slicks, and go run mid to low 11s on a 150 shot reliably on stock weight, stock clutch, and stock suspension. In order to get the 94 cobra I wanted to get to do the same, I had to invest a lot more money because I was worried about the block splitting.

If I had infinite money, it'd be a 94-95 with 96-98 tails and rear bumper. Then again, there are about a billion cars I would have before a sn95 cobra if I had infinite money.

That's nonsense. You can hit 11s long before the block splits on a pushrod motor.

Since all car's get modded, to me there's little point in getting a 94-95 Cobra, other than being able to say you have a Cobra. I'm aware of the cam and intake, but it's not the huge potential increase as going 2 to 4 v. But to each their own. Based on looks alone, I like the 96-98, for economy of mods 94-95, for ultimate whoop ass-ness 96-98. It really comes down to what you want, they each have their strongpoint's and weak.
