Thats allot of negative feedback, I don't want to be 1 of those people.

They have a link on their website to this ebay store.

that is a lot of negative feedback, but also a lot of postive feedback too. overall it looks like the seller kinda sucks with communication if the product is bad or defective. personally though, when i buy off ebay, i always consider it an as-is/no warranty purchase.

what size are the bulbs in the 94-98 cobra fog lights?

Think I could do the single beam in the fog lights?

I think I would go 12k and blind people haha

same as the GT, 899 or 890, either one will work.

FYI, lower the K rating the brighter it is, 4,000k is brighter than 10,000k.

sorry for delayed response I've been putting my 10.5" 03 cobras on and having fun driving with them on for the past couple hours.........315's FTW!!!!!! anyway, yeah a-train I would have to go with the USA seller if I were you. Just because I got a quality product doesnt mean you will, and it does look like they are crappy at communicating. 6000k's are nice you wont be dissapointed.

I was thinking about adding a set to my fog lights also, I swear this car is going to look like a train coming down the road with all that light on the front end :rollinglaugh:. Hopefully I will have the HID's Saturday and I can get them installed. If any of you have any questions about my kit when I get it or need pics, feel free to ask you all have been more than willing to help me since I joined.

that site doesnt, you need to look on ebay for them, and pick the right seller. i know americanmuscle.com sells the fog light kit, but they want like $200 for it.

american muscle: $220 Shipped
http://www.americanmuscle.com/hid-single-beam-kit-893.html

and i guess 893 bulbs work for the fogs too, its 890/893/899 that are the same ones for the fogs.

Ebay: $70 shipped

what kind of truck? if its an f150, we use the 9005 bulbs for the fogs, with very slight modificiation :coolsmiley:

(or you could use the correct bulb, which is 9145)

9005: $70 shipped

these bulbs will just pop into the cobra fog light?

yup, pretty much the same thing as you removing the original one and replacing it with another original one. simply twist one way and pull it out to remove the bulb, insert the HID bulb and twist to lock it in place. the rest is simply plugging in the connectors. easy, huh? :coolsmiley:

yup, that seller has multiple auctions for the same kits (warehouse ebay seller).

here is a more recent one for the 9005 kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-...ryZ36476QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and for the 9145 kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-...ryZ36476QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

both end in a little over an hour. if they end before you get a chance to get to it, just check out the sellers store (click on "list") and search for the bulb you are looking for.
just a little FYI on the "modification" for the 9005 bulbs: the sockets are the same between 9145 and 9005, the only difference is the tabs that lock the bulb in place. when i was using the 9005 bulbs, all i had to do was shave off a little off one of the tabs to make it work. you can also skip this mod and just take off the retaining bracket thats on the fog light housing, insert the bulb, and then just but the bracket back on.

it's an 04

an 04, non-heritage edition?

well what do you know, according to Sylvania, its the same as the 99-03 ones, so either of the two links i posted should work for you. i guess its

97/98:
9006

99-05:
9145 (or 9005 with slight modification)

06-08:
9140

Ok I got my kit mocked up tonight and tested the lights and they look awesome, now for the bad. The bulb housing on the HID's were 9004 instead of 9007 but from the markings on it I assume they just have the 1 type for 9004 and 9007 owners, so I had to grind some notches in the housing, so ok no big deal but I broke 1 of the round push and twist type clamp that holds the bulb and socket into the headlight housing so now I have to dig around in my garage and see if I can find a spare but other than that its pretty straight forward, I'll have pics Monday because I left my camera at work. Thats about it now off to bed....... :thumb:
