I know you loaded an 87 tune in there but are you actually running 87 octane on a PI swapped car? You might have detonation issues.

No, I'm only running 93.. I tried the 93 tune and it pinged constantly above 1/2 throttle. Only the stock or 87 tune doesn't ping... In fact, now that I've passed vehicle inspection, I'll reload the stock tune and see what happens. I could care less about the check engine light now

This is why we brake things...

96blak54 - The car was idling while I was jump starting my other car and I unplugged the MAS. It promptly died  The battery was too low to jump so I was forced to push the '95 into the garage but that required a three point turn. This turned into about an eleven point turn.

Needless to say, I didn't fool with the cars after that.

On the way to work this morning, I was involved in a chain reaction accident. The damage is nearly non-existent but still sucks. As most of you probably do too, I had instinctively started to swerve to the right but at the absolute last second, straightened up and hit the Silverado square in the tow hitch. Why? Simple, I wasn't going to make it around him and probably would've lost a headlight and the fender.

PinkieT - This is what happens when you quote the IIHS, LOL!!!!!

haha thanks.. Tbh, I was about two car lengths back but everything was damp from morning fog :deeplist: On a bright note, the 14" brakes kept me from REALLY plowing into the guy.

Bummer, maybe time for a Cobra bumper and hood...

:deeplist: This bumper was eventually supposed to fidn itself on my other car.

Damn! That last second decision to take it on was best for saving any chance of fitment. I'm glad the brake mod is working out so well for you and the SG.
