Finished this side save for installing the pads..

This was way more of a ***** than I thought it would be.. but I've wanted these for awhile.

Does anyone want to come by and scrub stuff with simple green and a tooth brush? I woke up this morning and I could still smell degreaser in my nose from the day before.

After this short little push.. I wait for the blower to come back.. Unless I can find another "i'm bored" project like this catastrophe. Maybe new U-Joints.

Had them do a Stage 6 on my noisy eaton. Rebuilt the blower, full port and polish. Also got a slightly smaller blower pulley (3.2). Hope the factory motor hangs on at 400-420 rwhp.

Now is the time to stop dicking around with little odds and ends as I put off that motor build..

The car will be done before too long..

Need:
3.55 gears to replace the 4.10s
MM FLSFC - Can't believe I don't have these yet..
Built shortblock - Relatively high compression + E85
A real fuel system..

Then I can pulley this ho down and hit it on top with the 125 shot that's already installed. I bet it'll be faster than my 750 rw Cobra.

just saw this for the first time and have to say I love the crab claw spoiler on the first pic on your blog. Love that sucker and its probably the only other spoiler I would put on the car besided the s281 I have planned to use. Hell if I had a cobra that would probably be my fav part of the car can't understand why anyone would want to take it off.

Looks slick dude. Is this the one with the plate welded in? Hope not, they have TERRIBLE reputations for cracking and loosing boost. Otherwise the port jobs are solid.

It's a no weld port. No idea when I'll get the car back together. I just got back from Dallas tonight and saw it in person. It is very shiney. I still have to extract a toasted bolt from the bottom mount plate.. then go to Fastenal and get the bits and pieces I need. Hopefully back together and running in a month. (I've learned to be reasonable with my time frames -- lol).

I am going to get some wider rear tires this week though.

Got the blower mounted.. fought with the damn car all night. Wanted to throw a wrench through the windshield. Hopefully, everything mounted well and will have it fired up again by Friday.
