No hood was just temporary

Motor is in! Car gave us some hell getting it running, didnt help that we had two MAF wires crossed and two TPS wires crossed. Once we got those straightened out we learned that crossing those wires fried the PCM. Replaced it and got it running! I then drove it 1000 miles to break in the clutch and new motor. Would like to thank Fastlane Motorsports for working with us for 9 hours tracking down all of these problems and getting the initial break in tune on the car.

Driving home for the break in

After the break in I drove it back to Fastlane so we could get the final tune down. Everything went good except the pumps were maxing out kinda early even with the BAP. (More on this in a second)

On the Rollers at Fastlane Motorsports

She put down 553/556 on BP 93 octane with 17 degree's of timing. Caleb tried giving her 19 degree's of timing and there was the slightest spark knock at the VERY top of the band, just to be safe he sent me home with the 17 degree tune. I have the ability to give the car those extra two degrees of timing if i throw some Torco in the tank just to be safe and it made 570 with the 19 degrees. Caleb also told me that with a meth kit he is comfortable giving the car up to 24 degrees of timing which should get me into the 590-600 range. That is 2.3/2.2 Territory folks!!!

On the way home the Fuel Pump duty cycle hit 100% at 3k rpm... dropped the tank and tested the pumps only to be sprayed in the face by the PPRV vent, we believed it to be malfunctioning and deleted it; replaced all the hosing with some nice E85 approved Aeroquip stuff. Did a pull on the high way from second gear and the FPDC never got over 80%! :D so problem fixed... only to find another problem lol

Right now the tranny is broken lol 5th/6th gear let go lol so we have to fix that. But yes, hopefully some enjoyment here soon! :)

Glad to see it's coming together!! Great numbers!! Pictures aren't working for me but that's probably just because I'm at work. I'll check again when I get home. Can't wait to see what comes next.

I heard some incredibly handsome individual pined the maf wrong, and that he is now legend at fastlane. Not only is he a legend for his abilities with wiring, but also his good looks in a fastlane t-shirt.
