Well she runs. :headbang: I got her started last week but didnt have time for any pics or vids so here you go.

I still have a tick from under the valve cover so im going to check the roller rockers when I get back from class. And for some reason I now need a slightly shorter belt. Guess I didnt get something in the exact right spot. She idles just fine. I drove her around the block with no issues given that isn't enough time to warm the engine up fully. Cant wait to get some track times.

sweet, one thing... if your not going to run tips at least get some "turn downs" if not the heat is going to miff some stuff up under there ( brake lines, linings and other "goodies") for 8 bucks its worth it

They are kind of turned down but not much. the tips are at like a 45 degree angle. I want to run full exhaust again but buying the pipes havent been at the top of my list lately. Going to change to some dynomax bullets and tips later on. Finally got to drive it a little today. I seem to have lost a small amount while just putting around but step on the gas and she screams. Cant wait for the spray

Long time since I have updated. So since then, I have gotten rid of the prostarts and picked up a set of 18in fr500's. This might be working backwards for drag but the car looks better and its fun to drive again. I have finished the battery install but still working out kinks to get the car to shut off on the switch. I have also picked up a second set of wheels with slicks. And finally my latest addition is a SCT chip from american muscle(i know im going to get bashed for having a mail order tune.)

Ok well the car has been sitting all summer while I collect little odds and ends. Not new really. Im mainly buying things for it to make it fun to drive again, while trying to be different in the looks department. Right now I am in the process of making my own heat extractor hood like ReplicaR did. And I am going to do a little painting to the wheels. Here are a few pics of what im going for and my progress. Im molding in the side scoops in the hood for a cleaner look. This is my first time at any kind of body work. As long as I can stay ahead on homework and my job. Ill be posting more pics soon.

Hood is fianlly coming along. I havent had much time to work. Just needs a bit more sanding and then the scoop cut out.

I'm just following you example. I should be painted in the next week or two
