I bought the car for $1,800 needing a head gasket and ended up letting my friend, who is doing the labor, talk me into start modding and spiraled from there. So far I have a stock shortblock with new bearings and rings, Mahle forged pistons (9.5-1), comp 274hr cam, AFR 185cc heads, Performer RPM intake, 75mm Throttle Body/CAI (75 bc the 70mm was backordered 4 months), Shorty headers, MSD Digital 6 box, and Eibach drag springs. Will have a stall and beefed up trans when money builds up a lil more. Plans are to be boosted or sprayed by race season.

Well we want to see what we can make with a 302 and stock exhaust. I have a KB 02 Saleen I went all out on so this is more of a budget build. By budget I mean he does all my labor for free and ive found good deals on most the parts.
Im excited to see what numbers itll make on the dyno and track.
I also have a 95 cobra wing and bumper to go on.
As for pics, Ill have to figure out how to upload them with this forum format.

host the image on photobucket, imgur, facebook, etc. etc. and use the little image icon on the reply box (looks like a picture frame with a tree in it. third button from the right) :) post the URL into the box that pops up.

Finally got the pistons ordered so the shorblock should be back together next week. Never knew it would be such a pain in the ass finding pistons for a 306 to achieve mid 9.1 compression. Finally just let the machine shop find some and ended up with wiseco 9:6.1
