Oh, the keyboard. Lol, at first I was like "what in the world is he talking about....." It's a mechanical gaming keyboard, and does all kinds of color shift stuffs, you can control individual key color if you want blah blah blah. It looks pretty though.

Welp. Tried to bleed the brakes today. Ugh. Fronts are just fine. Bubbles were out in almost no time. The rears...not so much. Steady stream of little bubbles from both rear calipers. I've gone through a couple liters of brake fluid, so I'm thinking there's a leak somewhere. It's a new master cylinder (that I bench bled) and new calipers in the rear, so at first I expected a lot of bubbles. After the 4th liter of brake fluid, yah not so sure about that. EFFFFFF.
I checked the new lines from MC to proportioning valve - the lines for the rear weren't as tight as they could be. Thought that was the issue. Tightened it up, still got bubbles. EFFFF. Master cylinder comes back off tomorrow, will get bench bled again, and I'll pay extra attention to the re-install to make sure I'm not screwing something up. Le sigh.

Well, I decided to get a car alarm. Really, I just wanted remote door locks and a remote trunk, and well, the car alarm part kind of just comes with that, and well, it certainly couldn't hurt. And I guess I just like projects. Not sure I really *needed* this. But it will be a fun learning experience, and I'm screwing around with the door locks and stuff right now anyway. So. Yah. I'll throw that guy in sometime over the next couple days.
I didn't work on the car today - too pissed at it. I did do some thinking about the problem with the brakes though. I'm thinking the issue is between the MC and the proportioning valve. I ordered an extra set of MM 94-95 hard lines in case the ones I have are bad or something (through the front calipers don't seem to be leaking). The only other possibility is that both of new calipers are leaking around their seals, or the new MC is leaking (but only on the rears). I really don't like the idea of either of those issues being the case... Oh, and of course, the lines from the rear up to the front could be damaged, but the car has been parked for a long time, and it was working when it was parked, so unless I broke a line or something without realizing it, I don't think that's the issue either.

I've got some things coming in the mail for the Brake Issue, so I worked on some other stuffs instead.
Like these guys; on the left is the driver side stand-off, with (left to right) driver window switch, passenger window switch, door lock switch, and mirror adjuster switch; on the right is the passenger stand-off, with (left to right) door lock switch and passenger window switch:
I've got the passenger side stand-off done, and fitted up to the door panel (fixed with screws and nutserts, so I can remove it to service the switches if necessary):
Once they are both fitted up, I'll paint them black. You may notice in the bottom left corner of the previous picture, I also installed the speaker grill. I'm not sure I love the way it ended up, but it'll do for now.
And, I started on this project:
Ehh? Ehhhhhhh? See what that is? Easily the most critical part of the build. Easily. BAM! INSTALLED!
DO YOU SEE WHAT IT IS FOOOOOOOOOR???
YES! It is for hanging of the shoulder racing harnesses when not in use! That way, they aren't just hanging down off the roll bar. I'll install one on the driver's side as well. It will keep the belts out of the way and off the floor. Like I said. Easily the most critical part of the entire build. Like I said.

Lol I am about to order the weld in rear sway bar from MM, and the torque arm needs welding. And the exhaust may need modification. Make it work. Do it. okie.

I've been reading the install instructions for the Torque Arm as well - are you getting the normal brace or the race oriented brace?

Did some more work tonight, specifically on the door panel. I got the boot thing for the handle installed. Wasn't too bad. I had to cut a bracket out of aluminum to rivet to, turned out pretty good I think, this now matches the arm rest, shift boot and ebrake boot:

OOO snazzy. And I'll be ordering the heavy duty torque arm, road race lowers with the weld in sway bar so the spring tension is off the control arms (the main reason I am able to run the lighter duty arms, this conclusion was after much deliberation with MM experts)

Making progress on a whole bunch of little things. I almost have the passenger side door panel completed, wiring and all. Here are the relays I'm working on - the left two are for the door locks, and the right two are for the passenger window:
All that's left is for me to finish arranging the wires on the door panel and hook everything up!
