From what i understand the 94, 95 cars computers are very touchy and dont take mods very well. On my car, 95 gt 5spd, i have the following mods: bbk intake, 70mmTB, shorty headers, o/r H, slp lm1's, frpp udp, and 3.73's. would getting a sct chip burned for this greatly improve the performance of the car?

thanks fellas

Or get a Tweecer and never worry about having a chip burnt if you decide to do anything else to your car. I have a Tweecer RT that I use with my turbo setup on my 95 and I love it. i know there are alot of other tuners out there that work great but I am just partial to the Tweecer cause thats what I have. lol Even with no tuning experience there is a ton of support from those guys.

at this point in the game it wouldn't benefit you to retune your car with the "bolt-on" mods you have done to it. Once you
start playing with the heads, intake manifold, cam, forced induction, then i would look into a better setup than what the computer
came factory programmed with.

or you could look into buying that new quarter horse tuner.. its does the same as the tweecer, but 3 times less in price.

I'm so sick of hearing people say that our ECM's are picky with mods..

I run a 347 stroker on my stock ECM... with a C&L FFS!!!

The Tweccer does have a steep learning curve, I was lucky enough to find a local guy that had been using one for the last couple of years and he helped a ton. I just found out today that he sold his Tweecer and bought a Quarterhorse, I havent had a chance to talk to him about what he thinks but he is a very intelligent guy and i'm sure he just wouldnt up a sale the tuner he has been using for the past 2 to 3 years for something he didnt research. For you guys that have the quarterhorse let the rest of us know how it is, I am sure we would all appreciate it.

does anybody here run an Anderson PMS, i just recently scored a 4th a gen with a trickflow trackheat intake w/ elbow and TB for 650 bucks. from what i've read they seem easy enought to learn but i'll be switching from an SCT tune and i have no tuning experience.

don't waste your money on the tune yet wait until you get an aftermarket cam or something major to get a tuner.

as said earlier, you simply don't have enough things changed to affect the tune quality yet. Once you get a cam and some heads into the mix then definatly consider a chip or the tweecer route. tweecer does have a bit of a learning curve to it though...
