I seriously need to update this. Well it's been through alot to say the least since I last posted in here. I drove it like it was for a few months, eventually the factory fan quit working on me, that coupled with a non working temp gauge led me to blow a head gasket 100 miles from home. The motor was rebuilt with new gaskets, head bolts, and the heads/block were checked for straightness and I reassembled it. I installed a Spal fan and its own thermostat to combat any further cooling issues and it has worked beautifully. I also installed a cluster gauge pod, along with Autometer oil pressure and water temp gauges to keep everything in check. Drove it for a few weeks after the reassembly, only to break a secondary timing chain and snap a cam gear.
This sucked, but wasn't too bad to replace. I'm pretty comfortable with disassembling/assembling it at this point. So she was back on the road again, I changed hoods from the cobra R to the saleen and love it.
I drove it like this for awhile, eventually got the hood, mirrors and saleen spoiler painted to match. Appearance wise that's where we sit now
