well depends what kind of power you want with that h/c/i setup all motor you will be around 270-300rwhp @ most, now with the turbo kit even on 5-10 psi on stock motor your talking 300-450rwhp but the stock motor could blow up your tune needs to be dead on and low boost between 6-8 psi. so depends what you want out of it?

Obviously you'll be able to make way more power with a turbo kit and if done right will be just as reliable which is why that would be my first choice, but the hci would be alot cheaper so if money was an issue then id go that route.

I agree turbo all the way. I add 100+ ponys to my h/c/i set up with my turbo kit at 7psi with a very soft tune.

you're not really comparing apples to apples. your saying a fairly tame n/a build on the relatively cheap side vs. a turbo kit that is easily capable of putting down 450 to the wheels. of course everyone is going to say turbo.

Unless you've got deep pockets or can afford to have your mustang torn down for a while then I'd stick with H/C/I. Turbo is gonna give you enough power to break everything, and that's not necessarily a good thing. Are you going to be able to upgrade your block, tranny, clutch, and rear end in the near future? I'd try H/C/I for a while and if that doesn't satisfy your need for speed then do a power adder

I disagree good tune and power kept low it should last a while. New head gaskets and heads studs. Hci=300 turbo=400+. Wish I would of went that route.

I did a 300 hp N/A motor and that lasted 4 months before I added a SC that made 400 hp then I built the motor right and added a turbo that put down 633 hp so far.

Cost N/A $1000
Cost to add SC $1400 more
Cost to do it right A TON!!

NA build but not that wussy one you had listed. The problem is that your limited to how much power you will make NA by your engine size. If you were going to stroke it and do a hci package that's one thing but keeping it a 302 your going to make a lot more in boost.
