Personally I wouldn't cut corner on ebay springs. Also it's setting something off in my head when I read the section that says "JDM Racing Performance" There's a set of eibach pro-kit on craigslist right now for $25, granted it isn't the drop you want but for $25 I wouldn't feel bad cutting them up some. http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/pts/1627275506.html

I wouldn't spend my money on a set of springs that dont even list the spring-rate in the product's description.

haha yeah no problem. I saw those and was like fawk I should pick those up but I'm planning on going with coils so no need for them. As long as you don't end up selling your car before then! I'm probably gonna start making Sunday trips out Baker's of Milford if that's any closer, if not I'm definitely gonna be at the dream cruise, and downriver cruise, and the Telegraph cruise =] God I can't wait for summer!

like everyone said, I wouldn't trust that at all. Get some quality used eibach's or something like that, you can usually find really good steals.

At Ebay of course, where all the quality part's are.

In seriousness, i would not lower an SN 2.5 inches, 2 is really pushing the limits of the geometery

Lowers approx. 2.5-3" with installation

haha...that would be interesting.

I cant even imagine how bad the car would ride or feel or scrape everything.

Ive got sportlines and I must say that it seems like anymore than 1.5 inches is where the car starts to lose ride quality.

My cars ride quality is noticably worse than my brothers 2000 with the prokit.

I have the sportlines with no isos.

Justin do you and your bro have the same struts and all too? That changes everything. Also depends how the car is lowered, a car dropped 2" with sportlines vs a 2" drop from cutting the stock springs is going to give quite a difference in ride.

Im glas you say that, cause we actually have the same struts now...both of us have the tokico Blues

And yea, I agree...the pro kits spring rate is pretty soft from what ive heard.

Guess this is not the case with the sportlines

LoL don't worry dude, there are always deals out there. Find a deal on some quality H&R springs now :eek:ccasion14:

Justin that's cool, the sportlines are actually pretty soft too, if my memory serves they have about the same spring rate as stock springs. H&R FTW!

I loved my H&R SS's, but yeah, they key to smart shopping is patience, sit back, watch, and wait for what you want. Don't settle because you have 110 right now or whatever.

You sure, I thought that was the pro kit that was soft?

The sportlines seem stiff to me.

Is there anywhere to see eibachs springs specs?

I'm 99% sure man, yeah there's a site that shows all the mustang springs and rates and the Sportlines were around 400, where as my H&R SS are around 750 for the front springs. I don't have time to find it now but i can take a look for it later if someone else doesn't know what I'm talking about. (hint hint) lol
