You mean if you break loose and then press the brakes it still hops? Shouldn't really be an issue.. I just say do donuts, they're way more fun anyways. Brake stands are kind of pointless IMO.

Sounds like you are having some suspension issues. Stock control arms with quad shocks still installed? or aftermarket control arms?

I'm pretty sure it has stock control arms and the quad shocks. the only thing done to my car is a tunner on the ECU, steeda short throw shifter, BBK intake, and 3:73 gear.. its posi traction too.

damn bro? 3.73s and still troubles?

let second gear go at anything above 4 grand and lightly apply the brake until you freeze the foward momentum..

you dont want to slam the brakes, because that will stall out and eat your rear pads alive

I use the heel-toe method. Left foot works the clutch. Heel of right foot smashing the brake. And toe of your right foot working the accelerator. It's the only way to have the brake depressed when you drop the clutch.

Donuts are useless. Brake stands are used to heat up drag slicks/Drag radials before launching. The smartest idea is to get line lock(or as it as called "roll control". I'm getting a line-lock for my car eventually, just have other things to worry about first.

I have seen the line lock kits and have a good idea of what they do, but how do they work? I assume you flip a switch and then when you push the pedal only the front brakes respond? Never actually used one so I am curious and have considered one.

Basically. It's like a valve, it only allows brake pressure to the front wheels, and let's the rear wheels spin freely.

i never had it but i thought you would press the brake flip the switch and it would lock the front tires. i could be wrong that was just my understanding i could be wrong.

Probably. All I know is that a line lock system cuts the rear brakes off and applies all force to the front tires, which would lock the front tires still :)

Kinda but opposite. Has nothing to do with the rear brakes.. Flip switch, depress brake pedal, locks front brakes until switch is off.

Don't need line lock anyway. Just gotta be quick with your feet on the clutch and brake, run through the gears. :eek:ccasion14:

also donuts make girls wet..

Power braking with a clutch will cost you one pretty quick. :tard: The whole fun point of a standard is the ability to drop the clutch and blow the tires off. Not sitting still wasting the tires. :dontknow:

If you wanna do burnouts all day then get the line lock or buy an auto trans.

The only other thing that will help is Mo Powa!!! :happy6:
