Donuts are useless. Brake stands are used to heat up drag slicks/Drag radials before launching. The smartest idea is to get line lock(or as it as called "roll control". I'm getting a line-lock for my car eventually, just have other things to worry about first.Slykin said:You mean if you break loose and then press the brakes it still hops? Shouldn't really be an issue.. I just say do donuts, they're way more fun anyways. Brake stands are kind of pointless IMO.
Basically. It's like a valve, it only allows brake pressure to the front wheels, and let's the rear wheels spin freely.ttocs said:I have seen the line lock kits and have a good idea of what they do, but how do they work? I assume you flip a switch and then when you push the pedal only the front brakes respond? Never actually used one so I am curious and have considered one.

Probably. All I know is that a line lock system cuts the rear brakes off and applies all force to the front tires, which would lock the front tires stillrz5.0 said:Rice_slayer said:Basically. i never had it but i thought you would press the gas flip the switch and it would lock the front tires. i could be wrong that was just my understanding i could be wrong.
