looks great man. I have the same cage sitting in my garage, I'll be starting install in a week or two. Looks to me like the trickiest part is going to be cutting the quarter panel inners. I dont want it to look like crap, so we'll see. How do you plan on doing yours?
got ya, thanks for the heads up. Yeah, my gameplan was to strip interior, mock up cage w/ pvc so i know where to cut my interior quarter panel. take everything out and get cage welded up and powdercoated. reinstall all back together. I hope it works out this way but it seems like it may be a little bit of a project. Either way, yours turned out great
I know it's less visible there, but, the fitment into the car was so tight that it would have been impossible for me to get that to work. So I had to improvise. I'm going to bondo it and spray it to match, chances are no one will notice and I dont really care as it looks better than not having anything there.the recommended cut is along the slit below armrest then coming up towards bar. that makes cut less visible. i never even tried putting mine back in. just been running without panels back there.
should be quieter with it in too.
