Howdy folks. This is my build thread. Haven't done much but more is on the way. I changed the headlights last night.

Got home from school to find these waiting for me.

So I put the driver side in to see what it looks like and also cleaned my dirty carpet.

So far I'm loving this. I'm gonna put the passenger side in later this evening when it cools off. Then tomorrow I'll start working on the throttlebody and CAI.

Wow those seats really pop! Are they comfortable? Those lights look pretty slick, where'd you get em from?

LOOKS GOOD
changing the carpet over to black will change the whole look of the interior.

I agree completely. Especially after seeing those pics that you put up. That probably won't happen for a while though as funds are low from this last batch of goodies.

The seats are the so comfy I want to sleep in them! I'm really glad that I got these because my friend has the CR1's and the thigh bolsters are too high to be comfortable for me but these are a bit lower and fit me well. I got the lights from AM (don't tell LMR). They are the black cobra style lights.

Thanks for all the comments y'all. I was gonna do some more work on it but the sky decided to drop a bunch of water on top of my city today so that's out. I'll do some more stuff tomorrow and this coming week after school.

Dumb question maybe, but is it easy to change the carpet over to black?

Not easy like installing a CAI.
All the seats and console needs to come out, the door sills and kick panels. Then the old nasty carpet.
You'll need to do some cutting and trimming but not much. Especially around the console.
Finding the bolt holes for the seats is fun too.

What part of the console needs to come out? I plan on putting in these exact seats, but cant stand that the carpet is gray, that's why i'm trying to analyze if I should do this or not with the carpet or just buy gray + black seats

The whole console has to come out. and the lower back seat cushion too
The carpet is one piece and is fitted but you'll still need to do some trimming.

two screws under the console lid and two screws under the shifter cover then lift the console out over the e-brake handle. easy.

There was a let up in the rain today so I decided to finally pull the passenger seat and put the new Corbeau in.

Dirty as hell so I cleaned it with a shop-vac. Then put the seat in. Really looks good to me.

After that it started to rain again so I decided that I was not gonna get on the ground and change the oil myself. So I took it up to valvoline and got it changed and while it was there I had them confirm a suspicion of mine... My waterpump is leaking. Slowly but surely. D***-it

Get new carpet bro, that passenger side pic almost made me throw up. Looks good though.
