I am trying to figure out if I have 302 heads or 351 heads because I have a cobra upper and lower intake. And I want to know if a cobra intake will work with 302 heads or only 351 heads. HELP GUYS!!!!!
Thanks in Advance

Cobra intake came on 302 mustang cobra but also came on cobra R (351). I think the difference in these 2 is the lower but I'm not 100% sure

As far as figuring out what heads you have, look for any casting marks and post them up here

I had a fox with 351 heads and a gt40 upper/lower intake. Why would they be any different? the intake you have theoretically should work on both 302/351 heads.

the heads are the same with the only real difference being the bolt hole diameter. either way the cobra manifold will bolt to it unless you found like the 1% of them for a 351. which i HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt.

The lowers are different for the 302 vs the 351. You can run a cobra upper on both. They do make the cobra lowers aftermarket for the 351, however their are several intakes that are better than the cobra intakes, TrickFlow for starters.

Yeas, the headbolt holes are larger. You can use either head on either motor, but if you have a GT40P head, most likely it has the small holes. All the GT40 (3bar) heads I've seen have had the 1/2" holes, IIRC 7/16" are the smaller.
