Stuff is happening. I'm almost done with my fuel system (at least the trunk side of it). Mocked up my new filler neck, and I'm liking it more than I thought I would. The hex bolt is temporary, I'll be using socket head cap screws when I do the final install. Next up is the filler panel and then I can move onto the interior to get it ready for the first half of my cage. Going with a MM 4 point w/ cross bar, for now, which I should have by the end of this month.

So, since photobucket shit the bed, I've moved over the imgur. Not going to try and fix all the broken links. Been a while since I updated this thread, so I figure it was time. Not much has happened in the last year due to getting married and all the wedding / house stuff happening. But the fuel system is looking good and the car is back at my Dad's house. Going on the lift this weekend and I'll be able to get some more work done.

The car saw daylight for the first time in a while this Saturday. It's starting to come together. Planning on tearing into the interior and wiring next. I'll need a t56 magnum before I can put the engine in and weld up some mounts. Hoping to mount it as close to the firewall and as low as reasonably possible.

Well, the engine and trans are finally in the car, for now. Got the radiator support modified and the stock GT500 unit installed. Still need to clean up the sheet metal and add a piece to the bottom of the radiator support. Next up is the heat exchange, plumbing, and wiring. Then I get to pull it all out and finish the engine bay.

(cardboard is for protection)

Bonus shot of how tight the engine compartment is. Had to notch the coil cover to fit the hydroboost.... but it fits. On a side note, does anyone have a diagram of the hydroboost plumbing?

Is this all staying installed as it sits now or is this all mock up?? I couldn’t remember if you had any plans of finishing the engine bay up.

What a cool project! Are you just going to fill in around the fuel cell and trunk floor with aluminum?
