I saw those at LMR and then on your car the next day... Your car looks great, doesn't matter if someone else has them.

ive been thinking at what to do next.... I've NEVER messed with an engine before, but I have really been wanting cams... I know they are not very cost effective, but with the right cams tune and bolt ons i can easily be mid 300's.. plus the sound..

Get 96-98 cobra intake cams you won't get that idle but you'll make decent power for around 200 bucks instead of $1300

WELL, I have to roll my fenders, with a full tank it barely rubs the tires. So when I return from vacation I will be rolling them ASAP.

Side note... the wife gave me the okay to get a 2015.... yay? or nay? Obviously Id be ditching the mach and I would be getting a GT premium w/ performance pack. thoughts?

WELL, I have officially fubared one of my rear tires by neglecting to roll my fenders. So when I return from vacation I will be rolling them ASAP. I MAY have to get a new tire aswell, the side wall is pretty chewed...

Bummer about the tires. A 2015 would be pretty cool but the monthly payment not so much.

Small update

Got my fenders rolled yesterday! The guy didnt do the typical mount to hub rolling technique, he actually made small relief cuts in the inner fender the ball peen and hammered it all flush. He even went as far to apply a rubberized undercoating to prevent any rust etc.

Also as some of yall know I am trying to sell the ole girl, if anyone is interested let me know..

As for pictures, there isnt much to see, unless anyone wants a few?

Well i have news fellas, the Mach has been treating me well. Not one problem from her. I moved a bit further away so my commute is about 25 miles round trip, so in lieu of that I decided to order a few mods, 3 to be exact. They should be here by this weekend then I can install them asap!

The 2015s are awesome, especially the roush edition Eco-boosts sitting at the dealership down the road from me. The only downfall is a payment with no change observed, I appreciate having a paid off car that the only $ that goes into it is for repair or upgrade. I love your car and can't wait to see the new mods!

Update

A few small things.. I installed a few parts on the Mach this past weekend. SR firewall clutch adjuster, mm solid rack bushings and Bama x4 tuner. Also my baby turned 44k today..

Tuner:
Wow what a difference this makes, not only in performance but in fuel economy. With the race tune I am getting way better than my original 13 mpg, although I've yet to fill up again since the tunes been on.

MM solid rack bushings:
I want to say I feel a difference, but I really dont. These things were a PITA to install. The previous owner for whatever reason welded the tube that the bolt slides through and the oem bushings sat on directly to the k member. So I had to grind those down while on the car which was a hassle to say the least. To top it off, I now need an alignment.. womp womp. One positive note though is that it eliminated the creaking noise that was made every time i turned the wheel.

SR firewall clutch adjuster:
Something else that was intirally to hard to install. I had to cut the old clip and bushing off my oem ford clutch cable with a cutting wheel to be able to slip it through the SR adjuster. Also the screws that were included in the kit are not long enough to secure the adjuster to the firewall. so plan on buying longer ones..

Now that you have the device you should get a dyno tune. Bama is so so

I agree and disagree. Bama has supposedly made good improvements on there v2 tunes. A dyno tune would be a waste for me now considering I plan to do more basic bolt ons and headers throughout the year. i wouldnt want to pay for multiple dyno tunes, hence the Bama.

Updates YAYYYYY

So Ive been pondering things to do to make this crusty old "new edge" feel new and modern again. I wanted to keep factory look as much as possible, but enjoy modern day conveniences. SOOOOO, that's what my next mods will entail.... Seats getting reupholstered, air ride, new speakers and sound deadener.

Someone say AUX?

This is the bread winning mod for me. It cost $30 and 30 minutes of my time. However I have NEVER seen anyone else do this to there car on this forum, so i thought I would share..

Parts Needed:
-Isimple is31 ($20)
-Isimple is335 ($10)

Im sure everyone has heard of the fm modulators that plug into your cigarette lighter that allow you to listen to your iphone/android by selecting a certain radio channel. The problem with those is that they wirelessly transmit to the antenna which doesn't always give back top notch sound quality. With the is31 fm modulator you hard wire it to a power, ground and plug the antenna into it. With it being hard wired and not wireless the sound quality is equal to a CD. If anyone wants a write up, ill make one.. PSA I cannot take the credit for this idea, another member here, RED showed it to me and helped me wire it up.

Let there be LIGHT!!

Anyone else ever think our trunks were not lit very well? So did I... I saw a video on youtube where a guy wired LED light strips into his trunk to give more light and liked the idea..

Parts Needed:
- LEDWholesalers 16.4ft flexible LED light strip, White 6000K ($12)
- HitLights 8mm 3ft quick connector ($10)
- HitLights 8mm 6in quick connector 12 pack ($6)
- Heat shrink tubing ($9)
