Well I finally got rid of the FMU. Also installed an Anderson power pipe, and trick flow upper intake plenum with 75mm throttle body.

Car made 341 RWHP and 368 RWTQ on a Mustang Dyno, all while still rocking the NPI heads.

Sorry the pics were taken with an iPhone

Thanks guys I was happy with the results. I just wanted to get rid of the fmu and get it tuned right. My buddy said it was way lean and the timing was jacked on it with the fmu. This is the way I should have tuned it back in 05 lol.

with 10 psi why is it only 341 rwh ? im @ 12 w. 423 you should maybe try a different tuner

Is that serious?

you have a completely different motor than the OP....and do you even know what your talking about to say "go to a new tuner"? Im assuming not cause if you did you would realize his numbers are perfectly fine for what he is running....

dynos are just a tuning tool and can be manipulated, your numbers seem very inflated to me anyway as most HCI 5.0s on 12 psi wouldnt even make numbers like that.

What model procharger is on the car anyway?

Sorry but buying a car someone else built doesnt mean you gain knowledge. PSI is a measure of restriction, its not an indicator for power. He could be running 10 psi on a bone stock NPI long block and be lucky to break 300 rwhp but on the same token, a well built 4v 4.6 could make 500+ rwhp on 10 psi.

Well in 2005 on like 8+psi it made 183.7rwhp/ 227.9rwtq prior to the p1sc and then put down 286.2rwhp/303.9rwtq with the blower. These numbers were on a Mustang dyno which reads lower than a others. I didn't care about the numbers because the car was fast to me. Even though I couldn't hook (no drag radials with 4.10s lol) when I took it to the track it it trapped at 110 almost 111 mile per hour.
justinschmidt1 is right, dynos are just a tool. I am very happy it made over 300 on another Mustang dyno. Now I just need to save for that built motor.

yea, thats all that matters...mustang dynoes read lower. My buddies car 2004 gt with 4.10s and a vortech dynoed at like 360 rwhp and only trapped 107-108 mph at cecil.

I bet my weak 385 rwhp ran faster and trapped higher than meanmachines 423 rwhp 475 ft lb car. :p

Regardless, its a stupid comparison and theres no more power to be had by going to a different tuner. Complete different motors and setup as well.

Meanmachine, hsa your car ever been to the drag strip? Got some times?

I think his numbers are smoked out mean machines that is.

yea, way too high for his mods...unless the car actually has heads and cams and he doesnt know....either way....thats why I asked for 1/4 mile times, that tells true power.

his number are very possible (even by dalamar power combo [(boost / 14.7) +1] x base HP ) so on motor he would only need to make 232 which is possible. and whistlers should be close to 203 on motor also possible

yes i like track times they work much better. justin whats you times if you dont mind me asking?

When the car dynoed 385 rwhp it went 11.3x at 121+ mph

When it made 440 rwhp I think it would have done 10.80s- 10.90s, unfortunately it broke before I ran it again.
