his number are very possible (even by dalamar power combo [(boost / 14.7) +1] x base HP ) so on motor he would only need to make 232 which is possible. and whistlers should be close to 203 on motor also possible

yes, that can be right but you also have to take into account that he has a supercharger which would be draining HP from the motor to spin it....theoretically if you add 14.7 PSI, you should double the output of a motor.

His HP and TQ seem way high for the combo he has listed....he basically has a stock 5.0 with an intake manifold and a supercharger from what I read.

Under those circumstances he would probably have to make 260-280 hp rwhp to make those numbers on 12 psi with a blower....and that aint happening

Is that serious?

Sorry but buying a car someone else built doesnt mean you gain knowledge. PSI is a measure of restriction, its not an indicator for power. He could be running 10 psi on a bone stock NPI long block and be lucky to break 300 rwhp but on the same token, a well built 4v 4.6 could make 500+ rwhp on 10 psi.

I thought 4v's were overrated Justin??? lol lol jk I'm just teasing. But that is what I like about the 4v, make more power with similar amounts of pressure.

But about the OP's dyno numbers; they look about right for NPI stuff. I remember when I just had my GT, all I wanted was around 300-350 whp.

lol, over rated, yes, will they flow more and make more hp up top? hell yea.

Even if you had a built up 2v you could make those kind of numbers on 10 psi I bet. Ive seen some worked up 2v motors that made those kind of numbers on 10 psi with a turbo

Hahaha I knew you would say that lol. But yeah, a 2v can be built to do the same but it will most likely cost more? Also, a turbo 4v will make more power than SC 4v so I have noted. (with same psi). I still want to eventually build my 2v, but the 4v comes first. OR I want to build an HCI 5.0 with a blower or turbo.

Um, hell no dude, 4vs are expensive as hell...look into how much it costs to do 4v heads or swap 4v cams. Your talking $$$$$$ out the ass.

idk, I still think a 2v will be cheaper to built than a 4v.

Obviously a 4v will have the edge in flow ported vd ported but from the flow numbers Im seeing, my stg 3 ported PI heads flow about the same as a stock 4v head intake side, and more on the exhaust side.

Oh no I didn't mean building up a 4v; that sh*t cray! Gotta give up arm and a leg and your nut sack. But that is what we started with but I processed it differently lol. BC in my mind, you'd need lots of boost or heads/ cams PI intake sorta deal to make some power. But it's not always the case. I was thinking about how with about 10#s my 4v could make 400-440ish. A npi 2v would need a lot more. But than again 4v's have the advantage in flow.

Hmm it can be done cheaper. But with the 4v just forged internals and the teskid can handle it, no need for aftermarket heads or cams. Just maybe some porting once you get into the higher numbers. The intake can be upgraded though, and those things are pricey! The MMR one comes to mind.

Well im definitely not talking about NPI crap, cause thats just worthless. lol

a PI 2v on 10 psi will still make a good bit less power than a 4v but realistically with a decent set of blower cams in an otherwise stock 4.6 PI 2v, ive seen awesome numbers.

There was a guy who made like 515 RWHP with a 4.6 2v and 12-13 psi I believe by adding hp 292 blower cams. Stock heads nad intake and a vortech.

Id just rather throw some ported PI's and cams in a 2v than go to a 4v. Thats just me'

And the iron block 4.6 from the 2v will handle any power you could ever make anyway...you can throw forged internals in them and boost all you want as well.

Dyno numbers are for guys with no cocks. I see countless 400hp cars running 12's and 13's are you fuckin joking lol. Lol well then with that being said I only use the dyno as a tuning device. Then I go throw down times at the track.

Not into the E dick dyno numbers. That's why my sig doesn't include any numbers

I like this response without all the profanity, the fuck Turd you gotta be cussin all the time. Although not everyone drag races their cars so I dont mind seeing numbers as long as you dont get TOO hung up on them. Your numbers seem good though, and the improvement from the last time seems like a significant one. I wont comment on the little 4v conversation going on cause you all know were i stand..... 4v>2v PERIOD NUKKAHS lol
