Did you ever think of continuing the white theme you have going on and doing white with a polished lip?

OR maybe a black gloss lip and satin bronze face?

I thought of doing the entire rim in a sunken treasure color that looks black untill the light hits it at an angle but knowing how much i like the white they'll probably get piwdercoated a matte white

Drivabillity issues anyone? Lol all of them have cracked caps

Painted more goodies dont plan on using the oem drivers side coil bracket but wanted to paint it lol plan to relocate them to on the firewall behind the intake also i cracked the coolant passage on the intake so i had to improvise so i started by hacking the passage off entirely and tapping it for a brass fitting threw it all togther with some locktight and some epoxy i dont think i should ever have a leak again i just have to smooth it out a bit and repaint it

I use an air hose black taped to a shop vacuum hose to get the big chips after useing the first tool, before installing the sert. Dont root in to much about the smaller shavings. When aluminum is that thin, that small, first compression evaporates it. Most of the chips are to big to slip between the piston and cylinder wall. In other words, timesert designed a great tool to keep the chips big. A bore scope is a great idea looking for other types of damages that may have happened. Timeserted 5.4l have ran years with not much thought about the aluminum shavings. They timsert it and then fire up! Even though the instructions were to evacuate the chips.

Yup bought a helicoil kit but didnt like the idea being the motors really healthy just old so decided to fork out the hundreds and buy the kit. I'll post up how it goes I'm excited to have my car back ! In the instructions it says to use a metal bonding heat resistant material should i use red lock tite or another adhesive?
