Nice! I've got no problems with Heim joints! They will also allow for a bit of adjustment.

Did you ever find the lower arms?

I got one for cheap from eBay, just haven't committed to buying the other one, was planning on borrowing one from someone, or finding one locally but haven't had any luck.

Which arm are you needing to borrow? I might be able to pull some strings and get one.

If no luck finding the others I have a spare set of uppers and lowers. Also I have a spare cradle. But was planning to use that to modify for more tire clearance.

Hmmm I'll check at the shop tomorrow. I want to say I have a pass side one, but not positive. If one of you guys would be willing to let me borrow one, I think we would be able to work out some kind of deal for a set

I could let you borrow all 4 if needed. But it'll be Saturday at the earliest before I can make it to the shipper. Just let me know what you need or come up with.

That would be awesome! My only concern is that I may need it for a month or 2, and I don't want you to be out of a control arm of you need it. Good news though, I ordered a tube bender and software today, so I just need some dies and I can start making some stuff.

This is a spare set that I have. I still have a fully assembled IRS awaiting to be disassembled and FTBR bushings to go in. It'll be a few months anyway before I even get around to the install.

Also it wouldn't be a problem if I am able to get a better set of control arms to replace them anyway.

Engine is finally shipped back to MMR to see what they can do for my warranty and I think I've decided what to do for an engine for now. To keep cost low, I'm probably going to stick with a similar setup to what I had except ill switch to a Teksid block and do some blueprint work to the rotating assembly. Eventually I'll swap a Coyote into it, but unless they are willing to give me a full refund or swap me for some coyote parts, I'm going to focus on the chassis at this point. Also got some goodies. Picked up a tubing bender and some Tilton 600 series pedals.

Progress is in the works, still need another LCA (cough cough )
Ordered some T6061 aluminum to make the bushings for the subframe. Need to get this thing in the car to take some measurements and then I can start plotting out some control arm mountain options. Can't do much to Change where the arms mount to the subframe, but I can make some adapters to change the roll center and then I'll be working on building the arms that will work. Pretty excited to get the ball rolling!

Also, I'll probably send the subframe out to get blasted and powder coated once I get some measurements to work with. I don't like leaving things ugly
Not sure what to do about that dif housing though.

My offer still stands if you need one or more. Just shoot me a PM and let me know if you need them.

I guess it's time for a little update! Been working with RedTwighlight on getting some bushing sizes and Working on making solid IRS subframe mounts and solid dif mounts. Pretty excited to get these done and test fit it in the car! If anyone's interested in a set you will have to let me know.

Also got the front bar tacked in and now I need to working on squaring up the front end.

Also, thanks to everyone who nominated my car for ride of the month! I've never been nominated for that before!

The mounts are looking pretty good.

Where have you been getting your Grigg's Racing parts from? I have been calling them for the past 3 weeks about a part I ordered. Still have yet to get an answer.
