Gopro cams are the best thing sence sliced bread! Make sure you get the suction cup mount and keep the base it comes with. Works great when doing drive by videos and stationary pics.

I used it when I did the exhaust comparison video that I posted in my build thread.

And the Cobra bumper look great on your car, is that an 03-04 cobra chin spoiler on it?

Ya I had the first GoPro hero and loved it! I sold it and I'm going to get 2 hero 2's, one for the outside and one for the rollbar! Yep it sure is, I love the way it looks on the bumper, just wish the bumper sat a little lower to the ground

In front of you
those red pistons are good for more than HP, im incredibly jealous of you getting a shot to try these out. i talked to mark about them and contemplated yanking my diamonds out, but ill just wait for the 5.0 redo thats in the future. Very nice car and i love that your taking it into some twisties!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm pretty excited to see how the Redfire coating holds up to some e85 and lots of boost. It's gonna be a little while before I get the engine in and start the break in process since I don't have anything but the short block so far. I'll have my heads next month and will start to put everything together, should be running by early fall hopefully!

So wednesday evening i finished putting my mufflers on and decided to go for a test drive. I came back from my test drive because it had a high idle so i decided to take a look and see what i could find. I was resting my hand on the throttle body and my hand slipped and ended up smacking the coolant hose that comes out of the back of the intake manifold and all of the sudden i realized i was covered in hot coolant. The coolant nipple on the intake was pretty weak from the old age and it ended up breaking. Thankfully i only have a few burns on my forehead and arms but i now have to replace my intake manifold. ive got it all torn apart but the new intake was supposed to come with new gaskets and it didnt so i will have to get some at work tomorrow. Hopefully it will be back and running (running good hopefully) this weekend.

Damn, i'm sorry to hear that. Glad you're okay though, it could've been much worse.
This is why whenever i mess with fluids, i make sure my cars cooled down.

Just got back from the 2012 Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup, came in first place out of 150 carsin the Autocross with a time of 48.187. It was definently one of the best weekends of the summer and I highly recommend spending the money next year to go out. Here's a video of one of my runs, sorry that you cant see the coarse, I didnt have the camera angled right, but I will have a video of the outside of the car soon. Let me know what you think!

thanks everyone! Ill do some editing tomorrow and get some of the exterior vids up and post them. I was having some understeer issues but im positive that it was due to the fact that i was braking extremely late. Im probably going to upgrade to coilovers all around here before the next autocross event and hopefully get some griggs 4 on 4 brakes. Keep a look out for the videos, should be posting them later tomorrow

Sweet ride man and coilovers will help but why you going to the griggs brakes? I would just run a harder compound brake. I ran some Hawk blue on my gt with Cobra brakes and currently run Hawk DTC-70s on my Cobra track car with the 4 pot brembos. Also, from my experiance, buy good rotors if your going to run the griggs brake setup. the 4 piston calipers and hard compound pads will warp cheap rotors like crazy. I tell you what though, you will have a BLAST with that car at NASA events. I'm down in the NASA- SE region and its awesome. @AthonyF your lucky to be in listening distance of RA. I've only been once and Its just plain Awesome!

Coilovers are here just need to put them on but the motivation is in the toilet at the moment =(
I want the griggs setup because ive heard nothing but awesome reviews from people who have them and i plan on tracking the car pretty hard next year. Was going to run the brembo setup but I really dont want to run 18's on the car to clear the brakes. I definently wont cheap out on rotors. Im a little disappointed with griggs though at the moment, ordered a tiger racing hood from them (almost 5 months ago) and now cannot get them to email me with updates about the hood. Gonna try to call them about it tomorrow...

P.S. Heres another vid, lots of push here around some corners, need to get those coilovers on and set it up with a little more aggressive alignment, let me know what you think!
