Thanks guys! I honestly kind of forgot about this forum until I was looking for some info and it brought me here last night.
So, right now I'm trying to get the car back on the wheels so I can start building a cage. Shouldn't be too far out, but the spindles from Griggs will take a little bit to save for unless I get refunded for this engine. I'm also going to build my own rear IRS upper and lower arms to see if I can get some more camber and hopefully some kind of roll center adjustment. Then I'll probably be looking into building an adjustable sway bar for the rear like the Griggs front bar.
Trying to get as much adjustment built into this car as possible. It's probably overkill, but I want to be able to compensate for anything weird that the car is doing when I actually start testing it. Again, it's overkill, but I'm planning on having a set of 4 way shocks built for the car and may need to change the mounting point for the rear end, but that's something to cross later down the road.
Also, I should probably update the plans for the car. I did some autocrossing in it with the old setup and it felt great, really stable and tons of grip, but once the engine went I just decided I wanted more out of it. Since then, I've been doing some NASA events and really want to build the car for AIX and eventually do the Pikes peak hill climb with it.
Ill post a couple of the autocross videos from last year.
