Killing it Tuesdays. First while I was clean. I replaced the bulbs and sockets in the gauge cluster and hvac with some new sockets and LEDs.. ughhh so much better!!!
I realized I didn't git the slip yolk to the tail shaft bushing in my exhaustion. So back apart the trans came. Then reamed it with this giant adjustable reamer.
Now i can say I reamed out a tranny with my giant tool, probably shouldnt brag about that. LoL Now it is clearance for .002". Slips in like a dream. Knocked in a NEW advanced seal. Reassembled the tranny and while the permatex was drying. I had an hour.. I decided to pull the rear axle since I need to redo that.. since the center section is fucked. So out it came!!!
And just in time for the permatex to tack. So I torqued it to spec and back in the car it went.
Just needs some new mercon tranny fluid.
