Have you taken your car apart yet? I used the bolts out of my npi cams in my bullet cams when I did my swap.
Haven't taken it apart but the pi heads have cams in them. The bolts are to small. I've located some bolts that will work.

slow progress fellas. Both comp cams in but only pass side is torqued down to spec. Any trick to tighten drivers side without the wrench ?

You should really think about putting the heads in the car without the cams installed. When the rockets are in, it hangs some of the valves open and when you are setting the heads down you could potentially bend a valve.

I'll do that, and any ideas how to tighten up the cam to the gear on side without the wholes in the gear?

Are you absolutely 100% positive the cams are in the correct head? (Im only asking cause I care your build succeeds)

You can leave the cams in, but remove the followers. Rotate cam where base circle is on follower to be removed. Take a flat screwdriver under the follower next to the lasher and pry it up. The follower will sip foward. Ill try to get a you tube vid

This method is so much easier than any tool available. Although this methods carrys possible damage, just be watchful and dont be invasive. Youll be fine.

It has a spot for one about the middle of the cam.

Thats right. Hold it there and torque the bolt down. 96blak54 gave an awesome video right there. It can save a bunch of time. I like to put them all in and bolt the cam down on top of them.

When you get this puppy together, youll rotate the engine looking for clearance issues. You will want to count the firing order by watching the intake lobe of each cylinder following the firing order pattern.

1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

#1 cylinder is pass front. Or you can look at it like this. The cylinder at the most front is #1. After #1 down the pass side bank is #2, #3, #4

Driver side is #5,#6,#7,#8

Take your chains out and mark them up like this. Use a paint marker or bright finger nail paint, white out...something.
