So I scored today, or at least I feel like I have.

I got some HRE 525s, only paid $40 a piece with tires and I don't know if you guys wanna know where I found them lol they're so dirty tho, they look like they're a dark grey but after some elbow grease the original silver color is starting to come out. I'm stoked to say the least :headbang:

for $40? Good burnout rims?

I'm actually considering putting them on my red coupe when it's done but the car would have to be pretty darn low to make it look good considering that they are 17s.

If I'm not diggin' how they look on the sn95 I'll probably keep them for a future period correct foxbody Saleen build

I found them at Pick Ur Part LOL I couldn't believe my eyes

holy hell. nice find.

lol at burnout wheels. look them up.

Thanks

Holy hell. $40 each?

Are they reps or something?

I wouldn't mind replicas but lol they're definitely not replicas

very nice. Does the right one hold air considering the bent rim?

It definitely holds air, I don't mind a bend or two as we do wheel repair/sell wheel assembly parts through our shop.

Pulled them off a car, the pick ur parts out here tend to have wheels on the cars but people will scavenge the shit out of them just for the tires and the wheels get sent off to a recycling yard, close call on these!

I would have sold them for $100.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-gly imo.

No, I know you definitely wouldn't have sold them for $100 especially considering that they once retailed for $1,600 a piece and are obsolete now lol

They're super ugly to some people, which I could see why, with super bulky tires and years of nastiness on them they look really bad. I love them and have wanted them for years.

Holy mother of finds. I'm so jealous, sell them to me! I'll give you $45 a piece and pay for shipping! Haha

I found a set of AC Schnitzer wheels at pick n pull once, got htem for like $200, sold them for $500. Think your find is a bit better though, jesus.

Kinda look like a 99/01 cobra rim with an 03/04 mach1 rim lip and screws around the lip. But if you're happy I'm happy for you!

Did I miss it or did you get all four? What kinda car did you find em on and what are the sizes? Definitely a deal of a lifetime here. You going to have them taken apart and have them re done properly? Even if you have to pay for them to be refinished you'd still make a killer profit if you sold em. Congrats on the find man!! I bet they'd look killer on the SN.
