Ok....does anyone have any experience with emissions in Ga. Im putting a 331 setup in my car in March. Wondering what all I need to do to get it to pass emmisions. heres the setup so far.

DSS 331 Stoker Pro Bullet

Level 10 CNC Block
Forged I Beam Rods
ARP Bolts Throughout
Forged Pro-X Pistons #4110 -13cc 8.5 to 1 with 60cc heads
DSS Low Profile 7qt pan
DSS Billet Aluminum Main Support
SFI 28oz Romac Balancer
SFI 28ox PRW Flywheel
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
ARP Oil Pump Drive shaft
Edelbrock Timing Chain

Im wanting to put on AFR 185's
TF Stage 1 preferably Stage 2 cam
Edelbrock or Trickflow Intake or maybe my cobra one can stay.
1.7RR

So if anyone was any ideas about emmisions...if I need my EGR or anything since on my stock motor right now EGR isnt hooked up. any ideas?

the tfs cams are not smog legal, they dont have a carb #. You might want to go with steeda #19 or Crane 2031.

yea I feel your pain. I just hope the guy I always get mine done at isnt on top of the whole aftermarket parts thing...he has never seemed to be the smartest guy to me and didnt catch the fact that my smog wasnt hooked up so we shall see again

is this someone you could maybe hook me up with? It would be nice to have a guy to fall back on. I used to have a guy but he got stupid and started doing that stuff for people walking up to him asking him to do it for him..what an idiot. Any help?

Honestly, smog tests arent that big of deal... i know california is strict, and i passed like a honda. .. with no air pump, half my cats working, and no egr.

Make sure all your plugs / wires are new.. new pvc valve .. oil changed..ect.

Retard your timing to where it idles lumpy., but watch your temp during the test. Retarding your timing will make your engine run hot.

Hope this helps.
