LOWERING SPRINGS need advice FAST!

OK Im finally ready to do it i have my card here and everything, I wanna lower the stang.


Whats the best setup?

Im not lookin to spend a ton i want the best bang for my buck!

On a scale from 1-10 how hard is it to lower my car?

for a decent drop Pro kit eibach,for an aggressive drop Sportlines or SS H&R a lil lower without isos. or slammed Coilvers.

you can adjust the ride softness/stiffness with them.

I have Pro kit cut half a coil... Looks awesome and rides really nice actually. They are about as low as the sportlines but are still stiffer.

what do you want the springs for?
looks or handling?

you can improve handling by dropin about an inch or an inch and a half.

If you wanna have a nice looking drop. You need a 2 inch drop.
But to do it right you will need other mods, like CC plates.
And if you go that low there is the scraping issue.
And even worse, car will ride stiff as hell.

If you have the money, you can get MM coil overs.
then you can drop 2+ inches and still have a smooth ride.
But again you have to dish out the cash $$$.

im in the same boat, with the new rims ive realized how bad the car really is, mines a 96 and from what ive read and seen its a toss up right now between the eibach or steeda, i like the steeda products and have heard decent stuff, im more then likely gonna just put them in at work..

H&R with bilstien struts and shocks. i had eiback and they were alright but the H&R's are 10x better imo

the h&R's are nice..i think my buddie had the eibachs or w.e and the back sat a tad lower so he had to do some modification to get the front a bit lower.....screw springs just get air-ride. and if u havent lowered a mustang b4 it can be a bit of a pain in the front the rear not so much...fronts will take 80% of the time

steeda or H&R. my recommendations period. i wouldnt cut springs, the ride may look nice but may be harsh on the road.
